I have given several talks on genealogy in the past year, and most people in the audience do not realize the vast wealth of online resources at their local public library. If you want to do genealogical research and don’t have a subscription to Ancestry.com, HeritageQuest, or AmericanAncestors.org (the New England Historic Genealogical Society) databases, then head on down to either Brooks Memorial Library in Brattleboro, Vt, or Rockingham Public Library, in Bellows Falls. You will be able to access the Library Editions of both databases, for free, either through your device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop) or by using one of the library’s public computer.

What are you waiting for? Let’s get started.

And, if you need help with a brick wall, let me know, and we can setup an appointment to discuss your genealogical brick walls.
