How Do We Get Started in Family History Research
- Discuss and define the scope of your project.
- Develop a research question(s).
- Create a research plan.
- Retrieve records, photographs, articles from databases or repositories.
- Analyze information looking for direct, indirect, or negative evidence to answer the research question(s).
- Document the findings in a narrative report that addresses the question and/or leads to further investigations.

- $50.00 per hour, plus any costs, fees, or charges.
- Minimum retainer of $500.00 with signed contract.
What is Provided to You
- Narrative report fully documented with footnotes and sources.
- A shared Google drive with all digital copies.
- Detailed Expense report with time logs.
